For more than a decade, we’ve worked in and around the trades, alongside talented craftsmen and some of the biggest names in the Treasure Valley and beyond.
We learned what quality work looks like, what homeowners appreciate, and what it takes to solve problems when the answer isn’t always obvious.
We also saw another side of the home-service industry.
As companies grow, things can get complicated. More overhead. More salespeople. More layers between the homeowner and the person actually doing the work.
It made us wonder whether there was still room for something simpler.

That was the idea from the beginning.
We wanted homeowners to have someone they could actually know and trust—not simply another company name in their phone.
That means being straightforward about the work. Respecting your home. Recommending what we genuinely believe needs to be done. Letting you know when something doesn’t. And standing behind the work we put our name on.
Jodie’s Neighbor is still a business, and we intend to build a good one. But we don’t believe growth has to mean losing sight of the people who made that growth possible.
